Assimilation

The Cryog arrive and send Trilopods to assimilate Earth's Kaiju and destroy humanity.  Shinji learns that there was a wave of them before; after the Necro outbreak.  Godzilla IV attempted to stop them, but he was assimilated.  At the time, Francis Jones discovered the use of Kaijunite and he used it to destroy all of the Trilopods, along with Godzilla.

Vastatotherium preys on some of the Trilopods, though one manages to assimilate him.  MGR-II is sent to fight the Kaiju, but is overwhelmed.  After a long battle, all the Kaiju destroy most of the swarm and the Cryog.  Godzilla is then attacked by the Vastato-Trilopod.  He destroys it, and the Kaiju break the boundaries of Monster Island to find and destroy Vastatotherium.
