After an epic speech, Halo leads the armies to assist Couwan, and the battle goes into their favor. But the favor soon goes back to Kirra when Lord Daiyou, who somehow survived his fall, brings his own army from Tartarus, mostly Cyclops and Makhai. Halo fights the Grimbeast to give Couwan a chance to get out, but Kirra shoots his steed down with a bow and arrow. Daiyou informs Kirra that the pirates she recruited are on their way to help, right before Hunter attacks him.
Toru arrives to save Couwan and fights Kirra, but he is overwhelmed. She prepares to petrify him, but Mikasa moves between them and takes the blow, and she is turned to stone. Saddened and enraged, Toru goes for broke until Kirra wounds him while the Grimbeast quickly dispatches Halo. At the last minute, Toothpick attacks Kirra until she petrifies him and throws him off, destroying his statue, much to Folora's horror.
Meanwhile, the pirates seem to arrive, but it turns out Daizua, Lilyena, and Decifinya snuck on board and killed them all. They then shift, and are aided by all the other Dragon Shifters and a swarm of Mountain Titans led by Zrago…
