Episode 31-50
As DRF forces help clear out Boston's destruction, they discover a nest laid by Zilla under Gillette Stadium, and the battle has destroyed all but one egg, which has hatched. The DRF take the baby Zilla to Monster Island and feed it fish. Back at the Sixth Extinction, Fubuki is getting more and more frustrated with Ivan's rules. While Ivan wanted use strategy and cunning to scare humanity, Fubuki wanted to use brute force and power to destroy it.
On Infant Island, another giant egg hatches, but it's not Mothra. A much larger, more intimidating larva comes out and lays waste to the village. Mikaela and Nicole hear of this and consult the Priestesses, who tell them that the culprit is their dreaded god, Battra, the Yin to Mothra's Yang. They believe him to be the devil and the evil counterpart of Mothra. DRF forces are sent to fight Battra when he arrives in Aukland, New Zealand. Mothra then reappears to fight the larva. Despite being in imago form, Mothra is constantly on the defensive, as Battra has deadly abilities. She wins the fight and stuns Battra after the DRF intervenes on Mothra's behalf.
Mothra then senses something and flies south. Nicole's sensors have detected Godzilla heading for Auckland. The DRF leaves to deal with the threat, but also leaves a unit to try and extract Battra. Halfway through the operation though, Battra regains consciousness. After obtaining his imago form, Battra destroys the DRF unit and flies to Auckland...
