Crustaceous Rex is a mutated invertebrate that preys on giant squid; it feeds primarily on tar. One day, it rampaged Jamaica searching for tar until it was destroyed by Zilla.

Cameo appearance: Flashback in "Contagion" when we see a photograph of C-Rex fighting Zilla as Chiba explains Zilla's history.
