Hunger

Hayama learns that Claudandus will search the world for more organic life and absorb it to become the ultimate lifeform and he decides to shut down his laboratory.  Claudandus finds the secondary Kaijunite laboratory in Osaka and starts feeding on the Kaijunite there.  Hayama betrays Jones and decides to help Alan; they hide in Shanghai.  Godzilla, now fully grown, arrives and fights Claudandus.  Claudandus is more than a match for Godzilla, but he is aided by Mothra, who finally decides to give mankind a second chance and save them.

Alan, after evading and killing Santino, helps Hayama get Ellie and Eric to safety, but they are held at gunpoint by Jones, who is disgusted by Alan's trust in the Kaiju.  Before he can shoot, Godzilla is thrown into the building they're on, crushing Jones.  Mothra then sacrifices herself, allowing Claudandus to crystallize her and consume her.  This gives Godzilla the advantage, as Caudandus has to wait after absorbing a Kaiju, and he fires a Hyper Spiral Ray into Claudandus' mouth, decapitating him.

The government abolishes Operation: DAM, and Hayama passes a law that makes the use of Kaijunite illegal.  Godzilla, now the last Kaiju on Earth, is protected by the Endangered Species Act, and is relocated to a man-made island where he lives in peace.  Alan and his family settle down in Kobe to live a new life.
