Kaiju Awakened - VISHNU by Daizua123 Kaiju Awakened - VISHNU by Daizua123
This is one of the Kaiju in Godzilla 2014 (this is speculation, so it may change).  I looked at the screenshot of his feet in the trailer, added my own personal touches, and made him look like the Nexus from Dead Space 3.

VISHNU

Height: 300 meters (when rearing up)
Length: 600 meters
Mass: 300,000 tons
Category: 5

Vishnu (also called Talaghan) may quite possibly be the largest Kaiju EVER recorded.  Believed to be the multi-armed god of Hindu religion in ancient times, this giant was mentioned in scripts like the Bhagavad Gita.  With its immense size and deadly attacks, Vishnu could possibly eradicate mankind with ease.

Abilities/Aspects
-Amazingly fast for its size
-Spines running along sides
-Thick carapace
-Splitting jaw enables to clamp down on other Kaiju
-Regurgitates explosive pods, which let out parasitic Mutos
-Rib cage protects vulnerable organs in chest
-Powerful burrower
-Can suck up everything into its mouth like a giant vacuum cleaner

Just an update: you may already know this but this monster was actually just for the teaser trailer; long before any development on Godzilla 2014 was initiated. Don't get me wrong though this is an awesome work of art. :3

Thanks.  I've known he wasn't going to be in the movie for a while before it even came out.  Someone told me a few months ago he wouldn't and I was disappointed not to see him in the movie, but MUTO was still a cool Kaiju.

Man I feel pretty bad that this guy won't be used since it really looks like a dangerous foe.
Still very cool !

Me too.  He would have been quite an adversary

Agree. Lets just hope that he may be used in a future movie because it would be a shame to not use an idea like this one.

I am hoping he'll be in the prequel comic.

Today I was observing the Vishnu/Talaghan panorama I posted, thinking of how those "spikes" were not on his back. Then, looking at your picture, I realized this is the most accurate version that I've seen, despite being based of Nexus. Only give the underside of the creature some sort of undershell (just think of Bowser Koopa's belly) and BAM! Identical.

I took a little extreme to the spikes.

Doesn't matter, it's very accurate. I might make a comparison, if you'd let me use your design.
