It's the lowlands that show the true lords of Alayssia. Most of the wildlife there is dinosaur. Large and small, predator and prey. There are herbivores like the ceratopsian Baroceratops, the hadrosaur Postosaurolophus, the armored Diablocephalus, and the giant sauropods like Brontoposeidon. But where they go, they are followed by predators, mostly theropods. The most dangerous of them all is Bellatosaurus rex, the Alayssian Tyrannosaurus rex.
Not only dinosaurs live here, but other animals share this world, most of which are twisted relatives of what we normally see. There are flying rodents and giant insects. There are even other reptiles...
