Description
(Credit to for discovering and publishing this new dinosaur.)
In the third manned expedition to Alayssia, I was accompanied by paleontologists Eric Bower, Robin Backstrand, Bartholomew Michaelson, and our new rookie Tristan. During this we discovered a few new species I haven't documented yet. Raptoropteryx is one of them.
Raptoropteryx is a flying bird-like carnosaur. We don't know how they can fly with feathered wings this size, but we know they live similarly to the Mountain Titans. In fact, I have seen the Titans prey on these beautiful dinosaurs, snatching them like a falcon catching a smaller bird.
Sadly, Raptoropteryx is an endangered species; Not only is it overhunted by other carnivores, but it only reproduces once a year, and it takes them a long time to reach sexual maturity. They are on the verge of extinction.
