Plot:

Bower arrives at the mainland with the dinosaurs and Ikarossaura and they learn that The God-King has created an army of undead Black Raptors and Homo erectus.  A vicious battle erupts, and Ikarossaura tries to snap Zugaikotsu out of his possession, but to no avail.  Toruk and Eywa arrive to help, but they too are overwhelmed.

All hope seems lost, until a violent burst of fire incinerates the erectus and a portion of the zombie raptors.  A mysterious new dragon named Scarflame arrives and he violently attacks Zugaikotsu.  The dinosaurs and dragons combine all of their powers and fire on The God-King, destroying his spirit forever.  With the link to The God-King severed, the undead army is destroyed and Zugai regains control of his body.  However, when the survivors brace themselves for an attack, Zugaikotsu reveals to them that his time under The God-King's control has soured him towards tyranny, and so he no longer wishes to be evil.  He flies off to an unknown destination to begin a new life.

Later, Comet, Cora, Talon, & Bower are praised by Dinosauria as heroes, and the young scientist leaves to publish his work to the world.  Meanwhile, Scarflame enters the Dragon Palace to visit Turok and Eywa as they are Olmaka & Ashiila, and he reveals to them that he is Daizua reincarnated, as he died of old age.  He visits Ikarossaura, who reveals that she is Decifinya reborn.  Daizua says that he does not want to rule the dragons but rather use his powers to protect the Earth.  

He bids Decifinya and his parents farewell, but not before giving Decifinya a kiss.  He visits an aged Zeon one more time before he passes, and Daizua is greeted by another new dragon, Manu, who is Lilyena reincarnated, and they fly off to destinations unknown...
