Megatron is the dreaded leader of the Decepticons and a former friend of Optimus Prime. He believes Earth vehicles are beneath him, which is why he sticks to his original Cybertronian form. Once Optimus' co-ruler of Cybertron, he was soon possessed by The Fallen, and he soon formed the Decepticons in an attempt to use the AllSpark to rule Cybertron. Megatron is very powerful, cunning, and willing to subjugate any planet, and no other known Transformer can rival him in power, unless it is a Prime.

Him: [To shockwave on the phone] Shockwave! It's me...Megatron.
Shockwave: Yes, sir! What is it?
Megatron: You won't believe what just happened.
Shockwave: The Powerpuff Girls and the Autobots just broke in unexpected?
Megatron: WHAT?! How did you know?
Shockwave: The same thing happened to me and Starscream. He's on the other line.
Megatron: Well, put him on!
[Shockwave puts Starscream on the line]
Starscream: [shaking with fury] BUSHWHACKED IN MY BIRTHDAY SUIT!!
Megatron: This is an outrage!
Shockwave: You are right. We're all Transformers citizens. Evil Deceticon transfomer citizens, but transformer citizens nonetheless.
Starscream: BIRTHDAY SUIT!! [Cries]
Megatron: We should complain!
Shockwave: But to whom?
