Stinger is not like other Transformers; he is a man-made experiment. Created by Halfhill in an attempt to get revenge on the Autobots, Stinger was made using Bumblebee's database, and Bee is less than pleased. At first, Halfhill controls the prototype just fine, but later, Stinger activates by himself and sides with the Decepticons due to the built-in program that makes him want to destroy any and all Autobots.
