There are three Celestial Dragons that have existed long before time began. Tianti created the universe, while Zudarkza filled it with life. However, for every life, there must be death. And death is represented by one of the most powerful entities in the universe... EKONS. The three Celestial Dragons can never truly die; they can only be sealed away.
Ekons has seen the rise and fall of many forms of evil from the Mutations of Alayssia to the Black Dinosaurs to Tartarus and Ethos. However, there are scenarios where Ekons attempted to exterminate all life alone. The first was during the Permian period, where he was then defeated by Tianti, but not before killing off most life on Earth. The second was during the end of the Primal Times in Dinosauria, where the dinosaurs started to learn how to use their powers, and they combined forces to seal Ekons away. However, because a Dragon Shifter did not aid in this, the seal was only temporary, and Ekons later returned for his third attempt, which was 20 years after the Second Tartarus War.
Ekons had influenced a terrorist organization led by Dastard von Deed to carry on his work for him, and once the world was ready to suffer his wrath, he would wipe them out as well. During this scheme, Ekons attacked Alayssia and was pushed away by the Dragon Shifters there, but not before inflicting a scar on Daizua Jr.'s face. In the end of the war, Scarlet and their friends use their Spirit Evolutions, which were aided by Daizua Jr. using his powers, to seal Ekons away forever.
