Episode 39-50
The Sixth Extinction has been stealing DRF technology lately. They also discovered two alien objects: a mummified alien Kaiju that crashed in Antarctica thousands of years ago, and a highly unstable alien mineral. Fubuki secretly stole some G-Cells as well. The Sixth Extinction has decided to make its own monster out of the alien mummy, a cybernetic weapon that they have named Gigan. Nicole's hacking abilities have discovered this secret weapon, and the DRF goes to the South Pole to stop it.
A shootout occurs between the DRF and the Sixth Extinction, and Mikaela's skills as a shooter have improved. However, suddenly, Gigan activates by itself and destroys the terrorists' Antarctic base before leaving. Ivan figures out that Gigan's computer brain has been taken over by a virus. The DRF follows Gigan to New Delhi, India, and he proves to be deadly. He wipes out more than half the military and destroys the generators swiftly, just as Godzilla appears. Gigan is fast and deadly, inflicting several major wounds on Godzilla before being shot down. Godzilla then destroys Gigan by blowing its head off.
The DRF returns to base to recover from the attack and conclude that the terrorist attacks are getting worse. However, a day later, Nicole finds out that Mikaela is abducted by Fubuki and brought to the Sixth Extinction base in Fukuoka. He intends to use Mikaela to get information and to blackmail the DRF to do so. A disappointed Ivan punches Fubuki in the stomach as punishment for disobeying him, and once again reminds him of his ranks before he turns to Mikaela to decide her fate. Finally fed up with being second fiddle, Fubuki grabs his shotgun and blows Ivan's head off, killing him instantly. After killing other terrorists who are loyal to Ivan, Fubuki takes leadership of the Sixth Extinction and orders his scientists to start mixing the stolen G-Cells with the alien mineral, and intends for Mikaela to watch his greatest triumph...

Fubiki : Jablonsky is already dead, because the Sixth Extinction doesn't belong to him anymore. The Sixth Extinction belongs to me now, Godzilla ain't got nothing on me!
