Episode 40-50
Nicole decides to launch a rescue operation to get Mikaela back, so she drives to Fukuoka on her motorcycle to find her. By this time, she realizes that she has romantic feelings for Mikaela. In Fukuoka Tower, Fubuki tells Mikaela that he is going to use the alien mineral and G-Cells to make a weapon of mass destruction. They complete it and launch it, but it backfires and creates an anomaly that makes crystals grow all over Fukuoka. En route, Nicole notices the growing crystals and also sees Godzilla is being drawn to the energy they produce. She contacts DRF to send for help, including the Super-X 3.
Nicole breaks into the Sixth Extinction's hideout and battles the terrorists. She injures Fubuki and kicks him in the balls before untying Mikaela, warning him to keep away from her. They get out of the tower just as Godzilla arrives. The terrorists go their own direction, as the anomaly stuns Godzilla and disappears into the darkness. After some silence, a new Godzilla-like Kaiju encrusted in crystals emerges. Called SpaceGodzilla, it proves to be much more powerful than Godzilla. Kyne orders the DRF to attack SpaceGodzilla, who is obviously the bigger threat. SpaceGodzilla sees the girls fleeing and pursues them. Godzilla uses the distraction to his advantage and blasts off one of SpaceGodzilla's shoulder crystals. After an exhausting fight, Godzilla manages to destroy his galactic clone. He then heads back into the sea, too exhausted to attack the DRF.
Back at home, Nicole comforts Mikaela, who asks her why she risked her life to save her alone. They reveal their feelings for one another, and they share a romantic kiss. They take the day off to go on a date, officially becoming a couple...
