Gigan is the vanguard of the Vortaak invasion forces. He is the finest fighting Kaiju the Vortaak have at their command. Gigan is a cyborg infused with Vortaak technology designed to augment his powerful natural combat abilities. He is faster, stronger, and more ferocious than anything on Earth could comprehend. Gigan projects powerful alien energy from his single eye to engage opponents at range, though with quick footwork and lightning-fast edged attacks he is clearly designed with close combat in mind. Gigan is eventually upgraded, with chainsaws replacing his massive scythe-like claws.

Abilities/Aspects
-Huge arm scythes made of alien metal, stronger than steel
-Cycloptic eye fire a concentrated Cluster Ray that explodes upon contact
-Buzzsaw in torso able to cut through anything, even Kaiju hide
-Flight at mach 1
-Grappling hooks on scythes that drag objects to buzzsaw
-Breast plates open to release guided razor disks
-Sails on back expand for aerial balance
-During second Vortaak invasion, claws were replaced by twin chainsaws
